I am proud to announce that I was officially accepted into the OU College of Nursing school in march :) I was SO excited when I read the letter. What's even more exciting is that I got my letter in the first round they sent out! I was very surprised. I'm a little behind with my schooling, so even though I'm a senior this year I won't have a Bachelor's degree for another 2 years. Oh well, it's all part of the journey, I guess. I can't wait to start Nursing school. Zach and I are moving in together at the end of July and I absolutely can't wait! It will be weird leaving my girls Kristin and Lauren (we've lived together for 3 years!), but I think it will be a new adventure, and I can't wait to get started. It will be Zach's 3rd year of PT school, and my first year of Nursing school, so we will be 2 busy people! Sampson and a new pup will be moving in with us as well :)
This last weekend, my family and I traveled all the way to San Antonio, TX, to see my little brother Tyler graduate Air Force basic training. It was amazing to see him and we got to do other fun stuff like the riverwalk and Six Flags as well. He looked so grown up in his uniform, which he had to wear all weekend. It was so cool to see all of the young boys who were graduating and attending basic training. What's cool is that every man in the Air Force must go through Lackland AFB for basic, so there were boys from all over! Tyler made a ton of friends in his flight, and a few that he calls his brothers. We are SO proud of him for all he is doing! Please support our troops, they sacrifice a lot to defend our freedom!
